Assets 101

 

Great KIDS make Great COMMUNITIES will be hosting an "Assets 101" training at the Allen County Public Library, Downtown Branch, Meeting Room A on April 7, 2010 from 9am-11:30am for anyone in the community working with youth and families.

"Assets 101" is designed to increase knowledge about the 40 Developmental Assets and begin to discuss ways participants can be "asset builders" in the lives of the youth they encounter at work, home and in the community, as well as ways to identify asset building in their agencies. This interactive workshop is ideal for new professionals to the field of youth and family services, those not familiar with the 40 Developmental Assets, as well more seasoned staff who might benefit from a "refresher" on the Assets.

Registration is free and space is limited to the first 50 participants. Registrations are requested by March 31, 2010. To register, please email info@greatkidsallencounty.org or contact the Great KIDS office at 260-449-7272.

This workshop will offer 2.25 CEU's for LCSW, LMHC, LMFT and/or LSW licensures, as approved through Category I of the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency. CEU certificates will be mailed to training participants.
