The Three Doctors: "The Pact"

A story of Survival, the Streets and the Power of Friendship

Embassy Theatre, Fort Wayne

Doors open at 6pm, seating is first come, first serve

The Pact is a powerful story about three young men from inner-city Newark, NJ, who overcame poverty, criminal records and drug-addicted parents to become doctors. The Thee Doctors, as they are now known, will be presenting to the Allen County Community on Tuesday, October 28, 2008. This free presentation is brought to the community through a coalition of willing partners including: WFWA PBS-39, Anthis Career Center, Great KIDS make Great COMMUNITIES, Fort Wayne Community Schools, East Allen County Schools, CANI, the City of Fort Wayne, IPFW and others.

Allen Superior Court, Second Annual Adoption Day

Allen Superior Court and Great KIDS make Great COMMUNITIES will host the Second Annual Adoption Day.  During the entire day, the Court will be finalizing adoptions in the County, with a special focus on foster care-to-adopt hearings.  Families finalizing adoptions will take part in their hearing, then join other families for an adoption celebration including cake and gifts in the Courthouse.  For more information, please contact the Great KIDS' office. To schedule an adoption hearing contact Marie Coomer, Court Reporter, at (260) 449-7289.
