This three-part training series is designed to equip social service professionals with the knowledge, awareness, and practical skills needed to effectively support LGBTQ+ youth. Participants will explore the diverse experiences and challenges faced by LGBTQ+ young people while examining the importance of creating safe, inclusive, and affirming environments. Through discussion, reflection, and practical application, participants will strengthen their ability to build meaningful connections, respond to individual needs, and advocate for LGBTQ+ youth. The series emphasizes translating awareness and understanding into intentional, affirming practices across social service settings. Participants can choose to attend all 3 sessions in the series or any session individually. (Note: Participants will need to register for each session separately)
