There are many children who struggle to regulate their emotions for many different reasons. This training uses the "Zones of Regulation" by Leah Kuypers as a framework to discuss how to help kids understand, interpret and regulate themselves in a world that is often confusing. By addressing underlying deficits in emotional and sensory regulation, executive functioning, and social cognition, the framework is designed to help move youth toward independent regulation.
